Christian Klick

Vice President, Corporate Office at Star Alliance

Christian Klick began his career at Lufthansa German Airlines in 1978. After General Management Training, during which he gained work experience throughout the different business fields of the German carrier, he held a number of positions in communications. He was subsequently appointed Group spokesman of “Deutsche Lufthansa AG” in 1997 and also headed International Corporate Communications for the Aviation Group from 1998 until 2000.

His involvement with Star Alliance began back in the founding year of 1997 and he was appointed Vice President Public Relations for the alliance in December 1998. With the creation of a full time and dedicated management company for the alliance in July 2000, Christian Klick became one of the first full-time Star Alliance executives.

As Vice President, Corporate Office, Christian Klick’s today’s responsibilities include Corporate Communications, Customer Relations, Customer Research, Quality Management, International Relations and Regulatory Affairs, Training and Membership Liaison.

Christian Klick was born in Berlin, Germany, and is married.
